Debt-to-income snapshot
See how your total debts compare with your yearly income, and how much of your monthly income goes on repayments, now and with a new loan.
What these numbers mean
- Debt-to-income is your total debts divided by your gross yearly income. For example, 2 times means your debts are twice your yearly income. See debt-to-income ratio.
- Repayments as a share shows how much of your gross monthly income goes on debt repayments.
- With a new loan, both numbers are worked out again with that loan added.
Good to know
- Debt-to-income here is total debts divided by gross yearly income. Repayment share is monthly repayments divided by one twelfth of gross yearly income.
- Lenders each use their own measures and limits, and may count card limits, living costs and other income differently.
- This does not show whether a loan would be approved.
